Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineering Intern to join our team at Innovative Defense Technologies. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, develop your skills, and contribute to the delivery of revolutionary capabilities for our customers in the Department of Defense (DOD).

 

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. This is a competitive pay package that reflects the skills and qualifications required for this role.

 

Key Responsibilities: Your primary responsibilities as a Systems Engineering Intern will include:
  • Application development with UML, SysML, and modeling software in a Linux or Windows environment
  • Collaboration with our technical teams to design and develop innovative solutions
  • Participation in code reviews and testing to ensure high-quality results
  • Development of technical documentation and presentations to communicate complex ideas to stakeholders
In addition to these key responsibilities, you will also participate in training sessions, workshops, and social events to enhance your skills and knowledge.

 

Requirements: To be eligible for this internship, you must meet the following requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program with a major in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Math.
  • Experience in application development with UML, SysML, and modeling software in a Linux or Windows environment.
We prefer candidates with experience in Java, C++, MATLAB, JavaScript, Python, XML, RESTful interfaces, and other web development languages or applications.
