The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Hutchinson Village, a 65-bed senior skilled nursing facility. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
Responsibilities include:
- Providing assistance with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing
- Assisting residents with meals and snacks, providing water and supplements as appropriate
- Collecting non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathering vital signs
- Providing housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational
- Participating in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed
Requirements:
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required
- Minimum age of 16
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position
