Job Overview

POSITION: Event Service Attendant

DEPARTMENT: Culinary Services

REPORTS TO: Event Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interpret Banquet Event Orders (BEO) to ensure proper setup and execution.
  • Arrange tables in designated areas with precision and consistency.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service station while adhering to established guidelines.
  • Utilize appropriate techniques for clearing tables and managing buffet setups or other specialized food service arrangements.
  • Support Event Captains in the preparation and dismantling of buffet or other unique service setups.
  • Welcome and serve guests in accordance with the established service protocols for food and beverages.
  • Adhere to all procedures related to guest checks and financial transactions during a-la-carte and beverage service.
  • Complete assigned side tasks diligently, ensuring accuracy in check totals and obtaining necessary signatures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong organizational, planning, and customer service abilities.

Self-driven with the capability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team.

Physical ability to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds consistently.

Exhibit a professional and positive attitude towards guests, management, and colleagues.

Availability: Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in banquet service within upscale or fine dining environments.
  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
