Key Responsibilities- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist with routine patient care procedures, technical and supportive functions in the recuperative care or ambulatory clinic setting.
- Collect and Record Patient Data: Collect and record patient data, including height, weight, BMI, temperature, pulse, respiration rate, and blood pressure, according to established policies and procedures.
- Perform Lab Tests and Administer Medications: Perform lab tests, including finger sticks, and administer immunizations and medications per provider's order, after verification of competency.
- Apply Aseptic Technique and Infection Control: Apply principles of aseptic technique and infection control per policy and procedures.
- Provide Health Information and Education: Provide basic health information and education to patients using established policies and procedures.
- Document Patient Information: Document pertinent patient information, procedures performed, and patient responses, following established policy and procedures.
- Education and Certification: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant school with a current MA certificate.
- Experience: Pediatrics experience (1 to 2 years or more) is preferred. Previous experience as part of a care team is also required.
- Skills and Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, Current CPR certificate, and bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

- Benefits Package: Employees working 30 hours per week or more are provided a monthly allowance which can be used towards medical, dental, and vision premiums.
