Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Firewall Administrator to join our team at Stellar Innovations and Solutions Inc. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing Firewall Administration Support in a government project supporting offsite at Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in Columbus, OH; New Cumberland, PA; or Ft. Belvoir, VA.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in monitoring and analyzing Firewall system logs, developing product requirements, and coordinating with vendors and government representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for formulating Security policy and managing Security configuration.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:

  • Five (5) years of relevant experience in Firewall administration, including working knowledge of Firewalls, industry standard network environments, and Information Assurance Best Practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of LAN and WAN operations, as well as industry standard Incident Ticket Tracking systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of DOD and DLA security regulations, guidelines, and policies, including IA standards.
  • Working knowledge of the installation, configuration, and day-to-day sustainment of network equipment, including firewalls and other network appliances.
Security/Certification Requirements

The candidate must possess:

  • IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance or a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal submission.
  • Secret clearance.
  • IAT Level II certification or higher, such as CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, or CCSP.
  • Computing Environment certification, such as CCSA, CCSE, or CCSM.
