Position Overview:
This role is dedicated to delivering outstanding service to both internal and external guests consistently.

The individual will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of guest accommodations, hallways, housekeeping storage areas, linen closets, and other designated spaces.

This position is fully committed to adhering to departmental and company standards while acting as a representative of the hotel.


Key Responsibilities:
Possess comprehensive knowledge of all services, features, and local attractions to effectively anticipate and address guest inquiries.

Exhibit attention to detail, organizational skills, and adaptability while ensuring the completion of all assigned cleaning tasks;

check in with the supervisor for additional responsibilities throughout the shift. Restock cleaning carts, housekeeping storage, linen closets, and public areas with necessary supplies and equipment.

Maintain thorough knowledge of the proper maintenance and usage of cleaning equipment.

Oversee and uphold safety, cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in guest rooms, hallways, housekeeping linen and storage areas, and public spaces as assigned (i.e., remove trash and linens, wipe down surfaces, vacuum carpets and rugs, sweep and wax floors, relocate items to their appropriate storage areas, etc.).

Adhere to established procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing of, or relocating objects/materials and/or cleaning up hazardous materials in accordance with safety standards.

Ensure accurate key control and maintain effective security for all keys, buildings, and vehicles.

Follow the proper protocols to report any damages or maintenance issues.

Manage lost and found items in accordance with departmental and company policies.

Arrive at work punctually and according to the posted schedule.

Qualifications:


A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) or a minimum of six months of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Prior experience in hospitality is preferred.

Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in basic English is required.

Availability to work varied shifts and flexible schedules is essential.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, and hear. Must be capable of walking or standing for 90% or more of a standard 8-hour work shift. Must be able to frequently carry, lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to both indoor and outdoor working environments.

The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud, and the use of chemical cleaning agents, household cleaning products, and equipment is frequent.
