Nuclear Medicine Technician Job Description

At UHS, we are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our team at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA.

The successful candidate will operate all nuclear equipment, leading to the diagnosis of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians. They will instruct patients on nuclear medicine procedures, protocols, and prepare them for exams.

The ideal candidate will have proper computer operation and knowledge, use of gamma and SPEC T software, and provide exceptional patient care to enhance quality and professionalism in their tasks.

Qualifications
  • Certification by the California Department of Health Services and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT and CRT) required.
  • Certificate of Nuclear Medicine Technologists required.
  • Current BLS (CPR) certificate required.
  • One (1) year experience in Nuclear Medicine required.
  • I.V. Certification for contrast injections preferred.
