Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Union Plaza Nursing Home, Inc. as an Evening Shift CNA. The successful candidate will provide direct care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including delivering meals, turning and ambulating patients, and providing hydration as ordered.
  • Help patients with personal hygiene, including providing bedpans, assisting with baths, shampoos, and showers.
  • Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient's chart.
  • Assist nurses and other staff as needed.
  • Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures, and abide by federal, state, and local requirements.
Requirements and Skills:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Completion of state-approved CNA certification of training course (Must have NY Certification).
  • Previous experience as a CNA preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and multitask.
  • Good communication skills.
