We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician to serve as the Service Chief for our Geriatrics and Extended Care Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and driving the development of our service line.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including hands-on clinical work, oversight, and administration of all aspects of the service.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, including the implementation of clinical practice guidelines and critical pathways.
- Lead a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent patient care.
- Collaborate with other service chiefs to develop and execute the overall Medical Center strategic and business plan.
- Stay up-to-date with changing conditions in healthcare, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Must be a Board Certified physician with a strong background in geriatrics and extended care.
- Must have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a security clearance.
