About the Role

We're seeking a registered nurse with a strong background in cardiac care to join our team. As a Step Down Registered Nurse, you'll be responsible for evaluating assigned patients, planning and implementing nursing care, and documenting patient progress. You'll also assist physicians during examinations and procedures, perform various patient tests, and administer medications within the scope of your practice.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
  • Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice.
  • Promote patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • An Associate's degree in Nursing.
  • An active, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Familiarity with cardiac concepts, practices, and procedures is highly preferred.
