Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at The Wood Companies. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating VTL machines to produce high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Familiarize yourself with general VTL operation and mechanical skills
  • Check, set up programs, and measure tool offsets to ensure accurate part production
  • Machine parts to hold tolerances per drawing specifications
  • Verify dimensions using gauges, micrometers, calipers, and various measuring devices
  • Operate VTL's such as Mazak and Fanuc Controlled Machining Centers
  • Report malfunctions, replace worn tools, and clean debris from machines
  • Operate lifting devices for movement of material and other equipment as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Pay Rate: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Shift: 1st shift, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday
