Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Part-Time Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for engaging with potential and existing residential customers, demonstrating the advantages of our fiber network, and ensuring ongoing loyalty to Stupp Fiber.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively engage new and existing residential customers through door-to-door prospecting, cold calls, local events, and community outreach.
- Provide excellent customer service and promote a positive reputation and brand image for Stupp Fiber in the marketplace.
- Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms, emphasizing product features based on customers' needs and technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
- Maintain customer records using automated systems and plan and participate in activities and events that promote Stupp Fiber products and services, as necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information such as selling strategies and marketing tactics, and maintain a personal cell phone plan with adequate data capabilities and willingness to download company-required apps.
- Valid state-issued driver's license and meet the company standard regarding driving a company vehicle and personal vehicle for business.
- Strong telephone and interpersonal contact skills required.
- Willingness to have telephone conversations monitored for quality performance.
- Ability to follow directions and work as a team.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer actions in relation to others.
