Foxconn EV System LLC is a leading provider of innovative solutions in the field of electric vehicles. We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Network Engineer to join our team and contribute to our mission of advancing technology.

Job Summary

We are offering a highly competitive salary of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience, for this exciting opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support services such as Networking Device configurations, Security Device configurations, network monitoring, troubleshooting, and other server/network application services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage network devices to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
  • Monitor and administer networks daily to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Complete project-related tasks assigned by management, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain a secure and efficient network environment.
  • Administer firmware updates and patching for all networking-related equipment to prevent security vulnerabilities.
  • Lifecycle management of networking and related equipment, including physical mounting as needed.
  • Troubleshoot fiber and ethernet connectivity issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of three to five years of experience in server/network applications, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Deep understanding of IP networking and its implementation in a real-world setting.
  • Strong knowledge of network segmentation, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multiple IT and business teams.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document technical information effectively.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft and Linux server environments, with a strong grasp of their respective strengths and weaknesses.
