Agricultural Outreach Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Agricultural Outreach Coordinator at Jefferson & Wapello County Farm Bureau.

The Agricultural Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for performing communications and outreach duties on behalf of the County Farm Bureaus. This includes coordinating events, managing social media accounts, publishing articles for the Farm Bureau newsletter publication, and providing customer service support. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about engaging with school and youth to promote agriculture in and out of the classroom.

• Coordinate Ag in the Classroom opportunities within county school districts.
• Maintain regular contact with supervisor regarding Farm Bureau activities.
• Research, prepare, and submit articles to the newsletter.
• Collect and enter member advertisements in the Spokesman.
• Maintain a social media presence on important platforms.

• A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $45,000 to $60,000 based on location and industry standards. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
