Summary

The Crew Leader will guide single crews in performing vacuum and hydro blasting services at industrial facilities. This role involves overseeing daily crew activities, ensuring safe and effective job completion, and maintaining the highest safety standards while adhering to company and client policies.

• Lead and mentor crew members, providing feedback, assistance, and training on job duties in accordance with company and client guidelines.
• Ensure all equipment is operational and proficiently operate hydro blasting equipment, including shotguns.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of various Hydro Blast Pumps (10K, 20K, 40K) and Liquid Vacuum and Air Machine Trucks.
• Prepare for job assignments by loading out hydro blast and vacuum trucks, ensuring all necessary equipment is available for safe and effective completion of the scope of work.
• Conduct thorough inspections of the job site and equipment before commencing work.
• Complete Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and all required safety documentation.
• Uphold OSHA safety regulations consistently and report any issues, concerns, or incidents to management.
• Maintain accurate and timely records and documentation.
• Contribute to general equipment maintenance, including servicing, greasing, and cleaning.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as pressure washing, cleaning cabs, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment for future jobs and ensure proper storage of tools and PPE.
• Perform manual labor to support service lines provided by USA DeBusk and contribute to meeting project deadlines.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience in Refinery or Construction (preferred).
• Prior lead or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in hydro blasting using a shotgun.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a urine drug screen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Refinery contractor experience and/or pipeline experience are advantageous.
• Willingness to work shifts up to 12-16 hours (day or night), both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, requiring prolonged standing.
• Ability to travel for out-of-town assignments up to 25% of the time and be on call 24/7.
• Completion of all required safety training programs.

• Capable of setting up equipment, including lifting and carrying hoses weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work at elevated heights and utilize fall protection harnesses.
• Capacity to work in confined spaces and perform tasks requiring prolonged standing.
