About the Role:
Shive-Hattery Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Design Architect to join our team in Valparaiso. As a mid-level professional, you will be responsible for leading healthcare projects, building relationships with clients, and delivering exceptional project experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in design discussions, idea generation, and collaboration with the design team.
- Contribute to the production and coordination of the design process and technical documents.
- Create graphical images and design and detail in Revit.
- Lead project and client meetings, providing insights and contributions to the design team.
- Interact with clients and contractors, representing the company in ongoing projects.
Requirements:
- Accredited professional degree program with a bachelor's degree or master's degree in architecture or equivalent education and experience.
- Basic knowledge of design of architectural systems, architectural specifications, international building codes, life safety code, current ADA and FGI requirements, construction documentation, and associated technology.
- Exceptional ability to understand clients' needs and potential involvement in a project.
- High degree of aptitude in critical, creative thinking associated with design and the design process.
- Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Google SketchUp.
