Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, rebuild, and repair vehicles and equipment, including major engine and transmission repairs and replacements, as well as electrical diagnosis.
  • Perform major electrical repairs, minor welding repairs, engine and transmission repairs and replacements, and equipment and plant maintenance repairs.
  • Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
  • Complete major road calls and perform field repairs.
  • Ensure safe operation and securing of equipment.
  • Maintain tools as required to perform job.
  • Ensure a safe and healthful work environment at all times.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electronics, and familiarity with associated components.
  • CAT or John Deere experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years journeyman experience and/or 2 years diesel mechanic certificate (preferred).
  • Valid CDL (preferred) and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Documentation that proves eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Attention and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
