Senior Corporate Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the monthly closing process, which includes journal entries, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Adhere to GAAP principles and ensure entries are completed in the month preceding the close.
- Conduct account analysis and reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
- Verify and confirm that all reconciliations for cash and credit card transactions are up to date.
- Monitor the hotels' guest ledger bi-weekly and notify management of any compliance issues.
- Oversee the funding process for capital expenditures and property improvement plans.
- Reconcile and track hotel expenditures against budget allocations.
- Stay informed about the hotels' accounts receivable collection efforts and balances.
- Perform weekly labor analysis and communicate findings to management.
- Conduct internal audits at various property locations.
- Collaborate with management to address and rectify any compliance discrepancies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is required.
- Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience; hospitality experience is a plus.
- Proven expertise in financial systems, including general ledger management, GAAP compliance, financial statement preparation, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Experience in managing multiple units is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines is critical.
- Robust analytical and computer skills are required.
