Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Provide guidance and direction to team members to ensure effective completion of cleaning tasks
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety
    • Identify training and development needs for team members
    • Manage and resolve conflicts or issues within the team
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Develop and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
    • Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for students, staff, and visitors
    • Host regular team meetings to discuss progress and address any concerns
  • Administrative and Operational Tasks
    • Manage and maintain cleaning schedules and rotas
    • Monitor and control cleaning supplies and equipment
    • Report maintenance and repair needs to the facilities management team
  • Other Duties
    • Unlock and lock buildings as required
    • Operate cleaning equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently
    • Perform tasks related to carpet cleaning and maintenance
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • 2-3 years of experience in commercial cleaning and supervisory roles
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
