About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at Schwan's Company. As a key member of our manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on conveyor systems and production machines
  • Setup and tear down equipment, perform major repairs, construction, fabrication, and installation of new plant equipment
  • Locate sources of problems and troubleshoot malfunctions
  • Remove defective parts and perform minor to major maintenance repairs
  • Work in a safe manner with a sense of urgency while maintaining a safe and orderly work area
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, two-year degree in specialized maintenance trade preferred
  • 5+ years of related experience in machine shop, CNC programming, and welding
  • Advanced mechanical knowledge, electrical, and basic to advanced building skills
  • Ability to read and interpret safety documents, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Experience with high-speed manufacturing equipment
