About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Radiology Technologist to join our team at Ellis Medicine. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our MRI scanners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners to perform diagnostic examinations, utilizing knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and MRI principles.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during scans, providing emotional support and explaining procedures as needed.
  • Position patients, use appropriate coils, and guide them during scans.
  • Monitor patients during scans and respond to life-threatening situations.
  • Assist in the education of other medical professionals and new staff.
  • Track, scan, and verify studies, completing all required paperwork.
  • Monitor PACS for problem studies and call reports.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Radiology Technology school with current ARRT registry and New York State license.
  • One year ARRT registry in MRI preferred.
  • IV certification.
