Kitchen Steward

Kimberton Whole Foods Inc is seeking a dedicated part-time Kitchen Steward for our Collegeville location.

Work Schedule: Part-time, approximately 24 hours per week.

Shift Availability: Flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 16 years old.

Hourly Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience.

Employee Benefits: Part-time employees are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K plan with a 3% match after one year and 1000 hours worked.

• Thoroughly wash dishes, pots, and pans.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, utensils, and dining ware.
• Prepare food items by washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables.
• Support cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks and provide necessary items.
• Keep the kitchen floor clean by sweeping and mopping.
• Manage waste disposal and maintain cleanliness of kitchen waste containers.

• Full sensory capabilities (vision, hearing, and smell) to ensure quality control and effective communication.
• Ability to lift, grip, and carry objects weighing up to 50-75 pounds regularly.
• Capability to stoop, squat, and kneel to retrieve items from shelves and carts.
• Mobility to walk short distances for various tasks.
• Prolonged standing during shifts.
• Active work environment requiring constant movement rather than sedentary tasks.
• Ability to work in cooler environments and handle cold products for extended periods.
