About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Telehealth Technician PRN to join our psychiatric care team at Baptist Health - Alabama. In this dynamic role, you will provide critical support to our team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and directors of nursing. As a key member of our team, you will assist patients with daily living activities, admissions, discharges, and orientation to the unit environment.

Patient Care:
You will use electronic devices to aid psychiatrists in rounding, consults, and other areas of patient care needs. Additionally, you will perform other care functions assigned by the psychiatrist, nurse practitioner, or nurse manager charge nurse. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest quality of service to our patients and their families.

Requirements:
To excel in this position, you must possess a High School education or GED, as well as medical/behavioral health assistant/technician experience (preferred). BLS and SECURE certifications are required within 30 days of employment. Proficiency in using electronic devices, such as iPads, tablets, computers, email, and phones, is also essential. Furthermore, you will require a reliable personal vehicle for transportation around campus.
