About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Radiology RN to join our team at a top-rated healthcare facility in Lexington, Kentucky. As a Radiology RN, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of diagnostic imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver care to patients undergoing diagnostic imaging procedures, such as x-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
- Operate radiology machines and read diagnostic images to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Adjust radiation therapy dosages to ensure effective treatment
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
Qualifications
- 1-2 years recent experience in radiology nursing
- Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states
- Additional requirements & certifications as may be requested by the specific facility/unit
