Job Overview

Smile Design Dental Spa is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and education.
  • Collaborating with our dental team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, and communicating effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Participating in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Current dental hygienist license in New York.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
