Key Responsibilities:

  • Administering and preparing medications for patients and residents in post-acute care settings.
  • Overseeing residents' self-administration of medications, providing reminders as necessary.
  • Documenting vital signs, interventions, and other relevant data associated with medication administration.
  • Ensuring the confidentiality of resident information.
  • Assisting residents with daily living activities (ADLs).

Qualifications:

  • Current state certification as a nursing assistant (CNA/LNA/STNA).

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers from the American Heart Association (AHA).
