Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned tax professional to join our team as a senior tax expert. This role plays a crucial part in our ongoing efforts to achieve excellence in tax preparation and review.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive Tax Returns: Review and prepare complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, fiduciaries, gifts, and non-profit entities.
  • Tax Research: Conduct thorough research on evolving tax laws and regulations to effectively address multifaceted tax challenges.
  • Tax Planning Engagements: Develop comprehensive tax planning strategies for clients, presenting tailored guidance to meet their financial goals.
  • Clients IRS Matters: Represent clients in dealings with the IRS, managing and resolving tax disputes, audits, and compliance issues.
  • Training and Supervision: Provide strategic guidance in managing project workflows and team performance.
  • Client Billing and Collections: Manage client billing and collections, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and follow-up.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with clients while serving as a key point of contact and ensuring client satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: In accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Mandatory certifications include CPA; EA certification is a plus.
  • Experience: 4 years of recent public accounting experience and diverse tax experience.
  • Skills: Proficient in QuickBooks, PC skills, excellent verbal, written, and listening skills.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
