Position Overview:
This role is integral to a dynamic team responsible for constructing crates and packaging fine art pieces within an industrial setting, ensuring timely shipments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Crate Construction:
    Utilize various carpentry techniques to build custom pallets, plywood boxes, and crate components. Operate essential carpentry tools such as saws, drills, and sanders safely.
  2. Art Handling:
    Assist in the careful de-installation of completed artworks, ensuring adherence to established safety protocols. Safely transport artworks using forklifts and other lifting equipment.
  3. Packaging:
    Prepare artworks for shipping by applying protective padding and weatherproofing as necessary. Construct and label crates and boxes in compliance with shipping standards.
  4. Maintenance:
    Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment, contributing to facility upkeep and improvement projects as needed.
  5. Safety Compliance:
    Follow all safety regulations, utilizing personal protective equipment and maintaining a clean work environment.

Qualifications:
Experience in carpentry, woodworking, and material handling is essential. A commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work is expected.
