We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team for the 11pm to 7am shift. As an LPN at Sapphire Nursing at Meadow Hill, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care in structured and routine situations
  • Administer and record medications and treatments as assigned
  • Prepare for and assist nurses and others with diagnostic procedures and treatments
  • Reinforce, support, and provide health care instructions to patients and their families
  • Participate with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities
  • Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients
  • Observe and report patients' vital signs, symptoms, and general condition to the appropriate individuals
  • Record on patient charts observations of patients' responses to nursing care rendered
  • Maintain environmental conditions conducive to the comfort and safety of patients
  • Assist with unit management and/or assume charge of unit as assigned
  • Perform other nursing functions related to patient care and nursing service, as delegated by the Nursing Service Administration
  • Guide and direct other technicians and nurse's aides in rendering patient care
  • Maintain clinical competence through participation and attendance at continuing education programs
