OVERVIEW:

The Demand Supply Planner is responsible for generating a comprehensive weekly forecast for the refurbishment component supply chain, which is essential for procurement teams. This role plays a critical part in formulating the worldwide refurbishment component strategy. Additionally, the planner will identify and communicate any component shortages and their potential impact on the supply chain.

KEY SKILLS:

  • Proficient in analyzing extensive data sets and performing ad hoc analyses
  • Familiarity with reverse supply chain processes
  • Skilled in integrating data from diverse sources to draw analytical conclusions
  • Ability to combine quantitative and qualitative data effectively
  • Experience in preparing reports for executive-level audiences
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Tableau
  • Experience in developing Tableau data dashboards
  • Competence in extracting data from Snowflake or similar databases

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

  • Experience with SQL queries for data extraction from the Snowflake platform (prior experience is advantageous)
  • Familiarity with SQL query writing is a plus
  • Experience with SAP PD2 is beneficial
  • Knowledge of Refurb Supply Chain processes is a plus

EDUCATION:

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 3-5 years of related experience, or an advanced degree with 1-2 years of relevant experience. A degree in industrial engineering is preferred.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee global supply and demand planning for refurbishment
  • Analyze weekly actuals and forecasts to create a supply plan that aligns with customer demand and team objectives
  • Facilitate weekly coordination calls with global stakeholders
  • Collaborate with stakeholder teams to ensure supply plans are aligned with targets
  • Publish and reconcile weekly supply plans to communicate and address changes and gaps
  • Work closely with APAC and EMEA operations teams to secure adequate capacity and materials to meet quarterly goals
  • Coordinate issue resolution and enhancement requests between business units and warehouses
