Millwork Drafter/Engineer

Craftworks USA, a subsidiary of Rycon Construction, is seeking an experienced Millwork Drafter/Engineer to join our rapidly growing Casework and Millwork division located in Oakdale, PA.

We are looking for a skilled Millwork Drafter/Engineer to create millwork shop drawings from architectural blueprints, work with the team to review and collaborate on department initiatives, and compose assembly drawings showing joinery details and finishes. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in CAD or AutoCAD, ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, and understanding of build methods within the casework and millwork industry.

• Create millwork shop drawings from architectural blueprints
• Work with the team to review and collaborate on department initiatives
• Compose assembly drawings showing joinery details and finishes
• Work with architects, project managers, and other interdepartmental entities to problem solve
• Create part drawings for fabrication manually or on our CNC machinery

• Knowledge in CAD or AutoCAD
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
• Understanding of build methods within the casework and millwork industry
• Cabinet Vision or Alpha Cam knowledge/experience is a plus
• Microsoft OS Proficiency (XP, Vista, 7, 10), Visual Basic (any other programming languages would be a bonus)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associates in or working towards Computer Science, Computer Aided Drafting, Communication or any other technical degree with a focus on Architecture or Drafting and Design
