We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Lead to drive financial planning, analysis, and processes for our External Manufacturing (ECM) business. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with financial policies, prepare management analysis, and implement process improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop the consolidation of actuals and monthly reporting processes, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Prepare relevant variance analysis and develop meaningful management reporting schedules.
- Lead ad hoc analysis and drive process and system improvements to ensure continued evolution of efficiencies.
- Lead and develop in the consolidation of planning cycles using planning systems and incorporate review changes of both financial and operating management.
- Ensure financial results are recorded in compliance with AbbVie financial policies, Sarbanes Oxley, and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Enforce and enhance internal controls by providing guidance and counsel in areas of Corporate Finance Manual policies, divisional internal control procedures, and international policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. CPA or MBA a plus.
- Minimum 6+ years of progressive and related experience.
- Strong sense of initiative and inquisitive self-starter; strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills; with ability to identify and resolve financial issues independently.
- Possess a working knowledge of US GAAP and financial controls framework.
- Proficient Excel skills required.
- Knowledge of SAP, BPC, and HFM a plus.
