Thorlabs is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical design and dimensioning principles, as well as experience with Haas and Fanuc controls.

About the Job

This role involves setting up and operating CNC machines in compliance with specifications. Responsibilities include performing set ups on various CNC Production Equipment, machining and/or fabricating precision tools and fixturing to tight tolerances, and inspecting and troubleshooting dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications.

The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably with a high school diploma or equivalent, and a strong sense of ownership and work ethic. A background in Lean Principles and knowledge of Virtual Gibbs and manual programming are also desirable.

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid life insurance, a generous PTO package, a 401(k) plan, and tuition reimbursement.
