Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Hyatt Centric SouthPark Charlotte. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment and fixtures
  • Conduct preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of our equipment
  • Stay in constant communication with colleagues, managers, and other departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Operate various tools and equipment, including wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance gear
  • Handle maintenance issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Adhere to all engineering safety norms and procedures
  • Support Housekeeping with guest requests

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • 2-4 years of maintenance experience
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Driver's license and clean driving record
  • Experience with facilities management software preferred

Compensation: $17 hourly to start, based on experience
