As a Senior Educator, you will be responsible for designing lesson plans and implementing our educational curriculum. Collaborate with a skilled team of professionals in a nurturing environment that encourages your growth in the field and allows you to express your enthusiasm for early childhood education. Our programs cater to children aged 6 weeks to 12 years, including Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K, Before and After Care, and Summer Camp.
Who Will You Collaborate With? In this position, you will engage daily with Assistant Teachers, children, parents, the management team, and fellow educators.
What Qualifications Are Required?
- Basic Health and Safety Training
ADA Compliance
First Aid and CPR Certification
Infant and Toddler 45 hours
Preschool 90 hours
School Age 45 hours - Adaptability in challenging circumstances
- Strong organizational capabilities
- Ability to foster strong relationships
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Effective decision-making skills
- Compliance with all state requirements for the role.
What Are the Daily Responsibilities?
- Implement a gentle approach while applying our developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Manage the needs of infants and toddlers at various developmental stages.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills to create a positive learning atmosphere.
- Ensure a safe and structured educational environment.
- Demonstrate empathy towards children's feelings and parents' concerns.
- Design daily lessons that promote the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of each child.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with parents and colleagues.
- Possess excellent writing skills and utilize technology to report child progress to parents and other educators.
- Set expectations that align with the child's age and developmental stage.
- Bring creativity and passion to your work while enjoying the process.
