Job Summary:

National Technical Systems (NTS) Unitek is seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Source Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of aerospace components and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-process and final source inspections, including first article inspections, to ensure compliance with AS9102 standards.
  • Read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T) per ANSI/ASME Y 14.5.
  • Perform mechanical measurements to verify the compliance of complex machined, formed, and assembled aircraft/engine components.
  • Support urgent production requirements with minimal advance notification for inspection.
  • Utilize MS-Office and customer applications to perform inspection tasks.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education level.
  • Meet visual acuity requirements, including passing a color vision test and scoring 20/30 or better in at least one eye, natural or corrected.
  • Complete a drug screening and criminal background check.
  • W-2 Contract: Indefinite as needed.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willing to support and travel to suppliers within a 100-mile radius.
