Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Fabrication Order Fulfillment Specialist is accountable for the precise and secure execution of fabrication orders received through Will Call. This role involves maintaining the showroom inventory and assisting with end-of-day clean-up. The specialist is expected to deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and representing our company culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary operator for Will Call Fabrication orders during operational hours.
  • Manage the replenishment of showroom stock.
  • Support the picking and packing of Will Call orders as required.
  • Efficiently pick, pack, and label Will Call orders.
  • Load products onto customer vehicles with care.
  • Adhere to established departmental policies and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize equipment such as order pickers, pallet jacks, or forklifts to retrieve supplies; may also operate a shrink wrap machine.
  • Conduct all aspects of fabrication, including cutting, threading, and grooving pipe/tube up to 12 inches in diameter.
  • Assist with end-of-day tasks, including Will Call clean-up, loading dock maintenance, and showroom stocking.
  • Comply with all company safety regulations and standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with Warehouse Software systems (TWL or CSD preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • A positive attitude and capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong mathematical skills are necessary.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Proficient communication skills in English related to the essential functions of the role.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Fabrication experience is preferred.
  • At least one year of prior warehouse experience is necessary.
  • Previous experience operating a forklift is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 50 lbs.
  • Visual, hearing, and speech acuity is required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods is necessary.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and fumes may occur.
