E&M Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Back End Software Engineer for 2D BN CSD to support critical operations within the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). This role is essential in executing mission command of operational intelligence and security forces, integrating multi-discipline intelligence operations, and providing specialized capabilities to support Army and Coalition commands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement the Agile Software Development Lifecycle effectively.
  • Conduct protocol and input fuzzing to identify vulnerabilities in external software systems.
  • Analyze disassembled code in scenarios where source code is not available.
  • Collaborate with operators and fellow software engineers to troubleshoot and enhance applications.
  • Design and develop compilers, assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
  • Modify and develop software solutions to ensure operational compatibility.
  • Document processes including flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and code comments for clarity.
  • Perform penetration testing on internally developed software.
  • Maintain and update offensive toolsets as necessary.
  • Create engagement platform images to support mission objectives.
  • Develop and manage virtual images for mission support.
  • Test third-party software compatibility with developed images.
  • Automate the image building process through scripting.
  • Monitor and report on software performance metrics.
  • Establish and update backup and recovery procedures.
  • Forecast hardware and software needs for ongoing projects.
  • Oversee the maintenance of equipment and software.
  • Manage software licensing requirements.
  • Document operational processes and procedures comprehensively.
  • Provide support to end-users as needed.
Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 4 years of software engineering experience, including recent experience.
  • Active Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) certification.
  • Completion of the Army Information Operations Planner Course (AIOPC).
  • Demonstrated mission knowledge and skills relevant to the Back End Software Engineer role.
  • Ability to interpret complex information and communicate effectively.
  • Capability to analyze trends and collaborate with various intelligence disciplines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience collaborating with intelligence community members for information sharing.
  • Proficient in developing comprehensive defense intelligence products.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must possess and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the necessary level.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DoD IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+ ce).
