Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients in the CVICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring clear and timely exchange of information.
- Stay current with the latest clinical guidelines, research, and best practices in cardiology and critical care, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Current registration in Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
- At least 1 year of experience in cardiology or critical care, with a strong background in CVICU nursing.
- Membership in professional organizations, such as the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN), is highly recommended.
