Overview
As a key player in our retail operations, you will be responsible for executing merchandising tasks and objectives to deliver exceptional results for CROSSMARK's clients and customers.
Responsibilities
• Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and on schedule.
• Demonstrate the ability to interpret and implement Planograms effectively.
• Perform item cut-ins on shelves and execute Planogram updates as required.
• Adjust and reposition shelving to align with Planogram specifications.
• Commit to your assigned schedule and be prepared to start work punctually.
• Work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
• Accurately report all completed retail tasks using designated systems on the same day.
• Communicate effectively with store personnel regarding tasks, sales activities, promotions, and client objectives.
• Complete necessary training and certification programs.
• Utilize a digital camera or smartphone to take photos, resize them, and upload as needed.
• Dedicate yourself to providing outstanding customer service and foster professional relationships with store management, associates, and other merchandising companies to meet company and client goals.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and job responsibilities.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
• High school diploma or GED; prior retail experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
Physical Demands:
• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands for handling, reach with arms, talk, hear, and perform physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, or balancing.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally lift up to 60 pounds from floor to waist or chest height.
• Significant driving may be required.In general, merchandising resets can be physically demanding.
Reset activities may include:
• Removing items from shelves, adjusting shelves, constructing fixtures, reorganizing products according to provided planograms, replacing shelf tags, stocking new products, and retrieving additional stock as necessary.
Computer Skills:
• Proficient in using a Personal Computer, printer, and familiar with software such as Adobe, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Tools:
• Daily access to the internet, meeting system requirements, and having a printer and phone available.
• Reliable transportation is essential for transporting yourself and task materials at least forty miles from home.
• If using a personal vehicle for business, a valid state-issued driver's license and minimum auto insurance coverage as required by state law are necessary.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
• None required.
Work Environment:
• Retail store environment with some travel involved. Some projects may require early morning hours, overnight travel, weekends, or holidays.
Language Skills:
• English is the primary language; however, bilingual skills may be necessary based on business needs.
