Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QC Microbiologist - Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

CAPS, the nation's largest network of outsourcing admixture pharmacies, has been delivering high-quality, same-day, admixture services and solutions to hospitals and outpatient facilities for over 28 years. Our commitment to safety and regulatory compliance is unwavering, and we're looking for a skilled professional to help us maintain our industry-leading standards.

**Responsibilities**

As a QC Microbiologist - Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring site-specific compliance with CAPS Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This will involve:

* Performing and reviewing daily compliance verification checklists, documenting results, and reporting to immediate supervisors
* Coordinating completion of environmental monitoring and documentation, including personnel monitoring, air bioburden, surface bioburden, temperatures, and particle counts
* Collecting environmental monitoring samples as necessary
* Providing new staff training
* Conducting sterility tests, aseptic technique qualifications, and media fill process validations
* Reviewing batch records for non-sterile to sterile compounding

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

* A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a QC/QA department of a pharmaceutical or Allied Health Science organization

**Estimated Salary Range**: $54,000 - $68,000 per year
