Job Opportunity

We are seeking a part-time occasional Arabic Interpreter to serve clients within our Refugee and Immigrant Community Services program in the Davenport area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct interpretation and translation services between users of different languages.
  • Interpret conversations in person or over the phone, and translate documents and forms.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, community partners, volunteers, and staff to ensure high and efficient quality of service to clients.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma/equivalent and 1 year of experience interpreting in the refugee community.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • A valid driver's license, auto insurance, a good driving record, and the ability to pass an extensive background check.
