Job Title: Clinical Nurse Manager

Essex Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team in Elizabethtown, NY.

About the Role:
  • Supervise and mentor a team of nurses to ensure high-quality patient care and excellent outcomes.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and staff performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Represent the nursing department in meetings and discussions with other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in the state of New York.
  • At least 3 years of experience in long-term care, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
