Private Duty Nurse

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled Private Duty Nurse - RN to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes, assisting with transitions from hospital to home and providing continuous care to remain at home with loved ones.
Responsibilities- Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
- Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
- Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
- Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required, with co-signature from Case Manager
- Follow up with physicians, clients, family members, staff, and Case Manager on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
