Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in electrical light and power systems, fire alarm systems, commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities, healthcare systems, and infrastructure support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Lead and Senior Electrical Engineers to develop schematic and construction drawings, assist with code analysis and cost estimates to meet project requirements.
  • Serve as the Electrical Project Engineer for small projects and coordinate work with all disciplines.
  • Attend meetings and prepare minutes of meeting.
  • Conduct site visits and field inspections of electrical systems.
  • Assign tasks to and coordinate with technicians or administrative staff.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree, preferably with EIT.
  • Minimum 2+ years of direct experience in related electrical engineering design.
  • Proactive personality with solutions-based approach to problem solving.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills (English language) and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit required.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel (Microsoft Office) required.
  • PE license not required but is a plus.
  • Valid Driver's License required.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Dewberry does not sponsor new applicants for work authorization.
