Equipment Controls Specialist

**About the Role**
We are looking for an experienced Automation Controls Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing equipment controls solutions for our cell manufacturing projects.
**Responsibilities**
- Implement equipment controls solutions for all cell manufacturing projects, including design, architecture, and implementation of automated equipment.
- Develop and implement safety systems, including commissioning and review processes.
- Program and debug structure text and ladder logic code on multiple PLC controller platforms.
- Create robust programs and sequences to control complex, multi-station machinery.
- Use Python scripting and SQL to interface equipment with our manufacturing execution system (MES) and collect data into production databases.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, or 7+ years' experience in Control Systems Design and Implementation.
- PLC programming skills, preferably on Siemens, Beckhoff, or B&R platforms.
- Human Machine Interface (HMI / GUI) experience, preferably with Beckhoff View, WinCC, or Ignition.
- Proficiency creating detailed electrical and fluid schematics in CAD, preferably with EPLAN.
