Key Responsibilities- Delivering compassionate nursing care as a Practical Nursing Specialist in post-acute care settings
- Monitoring patients' physical and mental health, including tracking vital signs
- Conducting resident intakes, documenting medical histories and health concerns
- Assisting with the administration and verification of medications, monitoring their usage and effects
- Creating a comfortable and safe environment for residents
- Maintaining accurate medical records and charts for residents
- Assisting with the setup of IVs, immunizations, and phlebotomy tasks
- Managing medical supplies and ensuring proper inventory levels
- Collaborating with staff to orient and train new team members
- Current state license to practice as a Practical Nursing Specialist
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing educational program
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- At least one year of experience in a related role
