Job Responsibilities:
- Safely transport and deliver mobile medical units to various healthcare facilities using a tractor/trailer truck with 50-foot spread axle trailers, handling weights between 45,000 to 60,000 pounds.
- Conduct thorough inspections of the vehicle before and after use, documenting conditions and reporting any issues.
- Prepare the trailer for transport by securing all items and ensuring proper setup at delivery locations, including leveling the trailer.
- Identify destinations, select optimal routes, and drive the vehicle to ensure timely deliveries.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs as necessary.
- Adhere to safety regulations and organizational policies to maintain a secure environment for both the vehicle and the load.
- Efficiently manage resources and maintain accurate records, including driver logs and necessary authorizations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and contribute to overall operational success.
Qualifications:
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
- Proficient in maneuvering a truck/trailer in confined spaces.
