Job Summary

USPI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Old Tesson Surgery Center. As a key member of our orthopedic surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Position patients for surgical procedures and prepare them for the operating room.
  • Assist with prepping patients and circulating cases.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and surgical procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in surgery, preferably in orthopedic settings.
  • Current Missouri RN license and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • CNOR certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
