We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Healthcare Partnership Specialist. We seek a motivated sales professional who will cultivate early and suitable referrals by establishing and maintaining business partnerships with referral sources to drive growth in our Home Health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulates, executes, and assesses quarterly and annual territory strategies and actions to meet financial targets.
- Evaluates territory dynamics, sets sales objectives, and collaborates with the sales manager to draft a comprehensive sales plan.
- Establishes business relationships through effective sales outreach and presentations.
- Collaborates with PruittHealth Home Health teams to ensure effective communication with referral sources and staff.
- Engages with teams from other PruittHealth divisions to explore collaboration opportunities and enhance patient care continuity.
- Identifies territory assumptions that may impact sales goal achievement.
- Recognizes key referring physicians, strengthens the PruittHealth Home Health brand, and identifies opportunities to boost referral volume.
- Identifies key personnel in hospitals, nursing homes, and managed care organizations to enhance referral volume.
- Engages with case management, HMO, PPO, insurance companies, and other payer referral sources.
- Participates in promotional activities, sales initiatives, and other growth strategies.
- Maintains ongoing relationships with existing and potential referral sources.
- Assesses competitive vulnerabilities and sets personal targets accordingly.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of the sales process within a healthcare context.
- Able to manage a territory effectively, conduct sales presentations, and generate referrals through long-term business relationships.
- Possesses a foundational clinical knowledge base to support sales efforts.
- Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with various healthcare disciplines.
- Skilled in identifying and developing new referral sources.
- Proficient with office technology, including MS Office Suite (primarily Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Comfortable utilizing virtual collaboration tools and videoconferencing software.
- Maintains professional and clinical competence.
- Participates in mandatory training and compliance programs.
- Respects patients' rights to fair treatment, privacy, and individuality.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Two years of college or business school education, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
One year of experience in Healthcare Sales/Marketing, or a similar combination of experience and training that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Familiarity with the healthcare landscape and sales processes is advantageous.
